The new artpack is up! Hope you all like it! Thank you to everyone that entered, I you forever! The new artpack for this months details are also below and I hope that you all participate, for its a little bit of fun after all! hehe...

P.s! I have changed the plugin, and I realise this one is acually easier to work! I have made a little tutorial on how to use it for those of you who arent sure how to use it... hope that makes it easier, blame this admin for being a dumbass

The third ArtPack for TerraSin 2005, for the month of May is Yourself. Now I know that this is an unusual name for an ArtPack, but I thought we would do something a little unusual and something a little fun. Basically what I want you to do is take a photo of yourself already in existence, or a part of your body with a cam or something like that and then use that as a BMP for the terrain!

Now if you don’t know how to do this, then firstly you need the Terragen plugin “Firmament” which can be found here = [link] and if you are still having issues just send me a note, and I’ll help. The tutorial to use it can be found here [link]

After that the focus of your render can be anything, you can do anything with the atmosphere, water, whatever you like! You can also do anything with the Terrain that you want, including inverting and playing around with etc etc…This means you can do anything as long as the terrain comes from a photo of yourself. Have fun, be creative, and I really look forward to all the amazing renders you all shall produce!
You have till the 31st of May to get in your render, (just send us a note with the link)!

Hey all!
I just thought I'd do a proper update! Our memberlist is still slowly growing, and I have offically updated it, so everyone that has joined is finally on our pretty little alphabetical list! yay!

The artpack entries are still coming in! We have 17 (opps make that 18, I havnt counted myself yet... woops!) so far, but I don't think we are going to beat our score for last month! But then again you all have two weeks to make somthing beautiful for me to display and gush over

I have already decided what next months artpack will be (but its a secret) and I'm not TO sure how you will all react, but I think its a fun idea *chuckles* it will certainly be a pack where you can let your imagination run wild! but more on that in two weeks!

And a final note just to say thank you to all you guys, cause this club would not rock so much if it wasnt for all of you! Much love being sent your way from this lil admin.

Wow guys! Awesome artpack entries! Keep sending them in, I love to get them and you guys are SO amazing! WOW! I mean... some of them I'm just like... "Man I wish -I- could do that"

Just a quick update to say that I have been SO BUSY! over the last couple of weeks... its the end of the first half of this semester so it was exams and assignments coming out my EARS! I should be in class right this secound but I decided I really did need a break, and its the last day before the holidays weeeeeeee! so hopefully i'll get my own entry for this pack done! I am such a slack admin

Anyway love you all, hope everything is going well with you guys! Still got just under two weeks to get your entry in, and lets see if we can top last months GREAT turn out! I'm watching you all who havnt entered!

Important announcement! Due to a number of entries I have decided to take somthing into consideration for this months artpack. For one, PLEASE can you all check out the rules again, they are there for a reason and yes it is to make MY life easier but its also so everything is fair for everyone else. Please please please please. Also note that if the render doesnt meet the rules, or for some reason doesnt really seem to follow the idea of the art pack I will be rejecting you (sorry)

Now onto nicer news, for this artpack and THIS artpack only I have taken into consideration the topic 'the heavens' which can yes, encompass a lot of things. So... for this artpack and THIS ARTPACK ONLY I am going to allow SOME post work addition with sky scapes/planets/space scapes etc... but when I mean some, I mean some... this *is* a Terragen club NOT a spacescape club, and so the main focus should still be on the terragen (sorry to those people which I am going to have to reject your entries, they were beautiful renders just a lil to much)

I will be judging this on a piece by piece value, but I would prefere that all entries were PURE terragen... but I am willing to make a few exceptions as long as its not over the top - this was supposed to be about broadening your skills in atm. work.

As of the first of this month, Jarik has decided to retire as Admin. He will still be a prolific member of the club itself, but is going to take the time to focus on his own club and bring that back to life, ~t3rragenD. I wish him the best of luck.

Having discussed it with a number of members, and after taking the poll into consideration, I have decided to change the ArtPack slightly, but not fully, so that everyone can be happy. Yo guys, Sarah here.
I am going to do an over haul over the next couple of days. Nothing big, just some graphics... Jarik did some before departing but he didnt do one for everything we need and just taking into account members opinons on Aprils artpack and stuff...

so.....

basically from right now the artpack is on hiatus, sorry solitary for already making one, its beautiful hehe while I just get my life and the club sorted out with Jariks departure from Adminship.

I know you guys understand. And please if you have a choice/preference for the artpack either comment here or let me know, cause i want to make sure we are all happy.
